Aggreko, a leader in supplying rental products for power, temperature control, and compressed air, has continued its expansion program with the relocation of its Miami service center to a larger site.

The new three-acre service center, located at 3601 NW 123rd Street, houses sales, service, and a fleet of power generators, chillers, air conditioners, heaters, and oil-free air compressors.

Aggreko has had a service center in South Florida since 2006, and the company said the new facility both enhances its presence in the area and provides a more central location for customers.

Tim Heath, area sales manager, Southeast, said, “The new Aggreko facility will allow the company to provide improved service to many of the area’s leading industries, including mechanical and electrical contracting, shipping and special events.”

Most recently, Aggreko provided temporary power and temperature control rental services to the half-time show and events surrounding professional football’s championship and all-star games. The company was also the choice of the Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and West Palm Beach boat shows, and the Allianz Senior PGA Charity Golf Tournament. Aggreko has also provided its services for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games, the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the 2009 Presidential Inauguration and the Daytona 500.

“Miami, a city known for its international appeal, was a perfect fit for Aggreko,” said Heath. “As a diverse company that does business all around the world, Aggreko is an organization with a real local interest. Our South Florida team takes pride in providing exceptional service, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”

In addition to Miami, Aggreko operates service centers in Jacksonville and Tampa, and is backed by a network of over 50 locations throughout North America.
