Vice President Dick Cheney and Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham honored energy management teams at four federal agencies for their efforts in promoting and improving energy savings in the federal government.

“Federal employees are being honored for coming up with innovative ways to save energy that will save millions of dollars this year alone,” said Abraham.

Winners of the Presidential Awards for Federal Energy Management included representatives from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), U.S. Postal Service (USPS), and two winners from the Department of Defense (DOD) — the Marine Corps and U.S. Navy.
