EVERETT, Wash. - Fluke Corp. has scheduled 39 motor maintenance training seminars in 21 cities during June for HVAC technicians, electricians, and plant and facility maintenance personnel. According to the company, attendees will learn how to keep electric motors and motor drives running right, and do it safely.

The tuition of $395 includes the three-hour training program, plus a new Fluke 87V industrial multimeter, the book Electric Motor Drive Installation and Troubleshooting from American Technical Publishers, and a Fluke video on electrical measurement safety.

In most seminar locations, both morning sessions (8:30 to 11:30 a.m.) and afternoon sessions (12:30 to 3:30 p.m.) will be held. Space is limited to 30 students in each class.

The schedule includes:

  • June 21, 2005: Buffalo, N.Y. (a.m. only); Cambridge, Mass.; Chattanooga, Tenn. (p.m. only); Chicago; Indianapolis; Phoenix; Roanoke, Va., and Wichita, Kan.

  • June 22, 2005: Atlanta; Baton Rouge, La.; Burbank, Sacramento, and San Diego, Calif.; Orlando, Fla.; Seattle; and Syracuse, N.Y.

  • June 23, 2005: Columbus, Ohio; Fort Worth, Texas; Knoxville, Tenn.; Minneapolis; and Edison, N.J. (a.m. only).
