Accubid Systems has announced the acquisition of ConstructJob, a provider of Web-based document management and bid solicitation software.

ConstructJob founder Natalie Abshier has joined Accubid as the manager of Accubid's new Project Management Products division, and will continue to direct the development of the ConstructJob product line. Existing ConstructJob users will continue to deal with Abshier and her team on matters of product support, training, and implementation.

She said, "My vision of providing a project management system that allows contractors to manage projects easier and more efficiently has become a reality that will now grow to an even larger scale with Accubid."

Giovanni Marcelli, Accubid's president and CEO, stated, "The acquisition of ConstructJob allows Accubid to truly become a total solution provider for all contractor needs from estimating through project management."

An enhanced version of the flagship ConstructJob product, with document alerts and direct links to Microsoft Outlook, is planned for release under the Accubid brand name later this year.

Accubid Systems is a provider of estimating, billing, and change order software for mechanical, electrical, and structured cabling contractors. Accubid's estimating software solutions include Accubid Pro, BidWinner Plus, and BidWinner.
