MINNEAPOLIS - Honeywell has introduced its MiniRetrofitâ„¢ Service, a facility optimization program designed to reduce a facility's energy use and improve equipment reliability. According to the company, through a MiniRetrofit Service multiyear facilities agreement, Honeywell will install new energy-efficient equipment and systems with the reduction in operating costs helping to defray the upfront capital investment.

Projects, such as lighting, HVAC, and insulation upgrades, are funded by the energy and operational savings they generate. The projects are similar to energy savings performance contracts, but have a more limited size and scope.
