Global Thermoelectric Inc. (Calgary, AB, Canada), a developer of solid oxide fuel cells, has announced that Montana State University-Billings, in partnership with Montana Dakota Utilities Co., will be evaluating the company’s fuel cell systems.

Global is installing a 2-kW natural gas-fueled system for residential applications and a 3- to 5-kW methane-fueled system for light industrial applications at the university for testing and evaluation by the school’s Center for Applied Economic Research and the utility.
