SPARTA, Wis. - Multistack USA has completed relocation of its corporate offices and manufacturing from West Salem, Wis., to a newly constructed 70,000-square-foot facility in nearby Sparta. The new facility, which sits on a nine-acre lot purchased by Multistack in May 2005, has more than twice the space of the West Salem location, giving the business ample room for growth.

Multistack, a manufacturer of modular chillers for commercial, institutional, and governmental applications, has sustained an annual growth rate of 25 percent since beginning U.S. production in 1989, says the company. After several expansions to the West Salem location, the decision was made to build a new headquarters, manufacturing plant, and training facility in Sparta. Attractive tax incentives helped to lure the company to its current location, 13 miles east of its previous home. Multistack broke ground in September 2005, and completed construction of the facility in March 2006.

"This was a substantial investment for our company," said Mark Platt, president and CEO of Multistack. "But we felt it was necessary to maintain the high standards we've set in customer service, product quality, and process efficiency."

Multistack's line of high efficiency, modular chillers continues to gain acceptance throughout the world, winning the confidence of the U.S. Department of State and other customers that have critical cooling needs. As a result, the company has managed to triple revenues since 2002.

"Each year we look at our accomplishments and ask ‘How we do it all over again?'" said Platt. "Now we have the space to thoroughly explore the possibilities."

Multistack currently employs over 60 sales, administrative, and technical personnel at the new Sparta facility. For more information, go to www.multistack.com.
