NOVI, Mich. - BrassCraft has promoted Joel Paul to director of operations of BrassCraft's Brownstown (Mich.) packaging and distribution facility.

Paul was previously director of sales administration. He joined BrassCraft in July 1990 as an information services programmer, and was promoted to supervisor of EDI and shipping in 1995.

"Joel has worked closely with the Brownstown facility on the warehouse management and shipping verification systems," said Don Glover, vice president of manufacturing. "After a transitional period working with his predecessor, Eric Neer, who is retiring from the director of operations position, Paul will assume full responsibilities in July 2005."

Paul graduated from Masco's MBA program at Eastern Michigan University in 2000, and earned the Masco Leadership Program-Operations Management certificate (through Michigan State University) in 2004.

BrassCraft, a Masco Company, is a manufacturer of water supplies and other plumbing products for the wholesale and retail markets.
