SAN DIEGO - Buckeye Ventures, an HVAC and plumbing acquisitions firm, announced the completion of a reverse merger that enables the company to trade publicly. Alan Mintz, CEO of Buckeye Ventures, noted that the company's business philosophy bears little resemblance to the consolidation model that was promoted so aggressively in the late 1990s. That distinction is driven by a management team that is committed to avoiding the specific shortcomings of traditional consolidation, according to Mintz.

"We're excited to offer our current and future business partners - along with members of the investment community - the opportunity to participate directly in our success," said Mintz.

The organization currently owns Heating and Air Conditioning Services, Boston, and is negotiating with a number of other HVAC and plumbing providers primarily located across the Sun Belt.

With capital in the form of cash and stock at its disposal, the firm is actively seeking additional residential HVAC and/or plumbing businesses from across the country as merger candidates.
