LP (Houston) expanded its operation with a new 65,100-square-foot manufacturing facility in Groveland, Fla. Carrier Corp. (Farmington, Conn.) won Managing Automation Magazine's (New York) Progressive Manufacturing Award in the Innovation Mastery category. Ritchie Engineering Co. Inc. (Bloomington, Minn.) hired Tom Simon as vice president of engineering. Bradford White Corp. (Ambler, Pa.) promoted Robert Mikus to the position of parts team leader.
