ATLANTA - Heatcraft Refrigeration Products LLC (HRP) recently presented the 2004 Summit Awards. The HRP Summit Awards recognize excellence in supplier performance.

The three levels of awards, Premier, Superior, and Most Improved, were presented at the banquet by Mike Schwartz, president of Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration; David Moon, vice president and general manager for the Americas Group; and Sherri Cochran, HRP division supply manager.

The Premier Award is presented to suppliers who achieve the highest level in overall performance. Consolidated Metal Products (Columbia, S.C.) and VeriCorr Packaging (Americus, Ga.) received the award for 2004.

The Superior Award is presented to suppliers who achieve the second highest level in overall performance. The 2004 recipients included Anixter Pentacon (Lyons, Ga.), Commander Packaging Corp. (Monee, Ill.), Elec-Tron Inc. (Wichita, Kan.), Manufactured Partners Inc. (Tifton, Ga.), Industrial Pallet Corp. (Remington, Ill.), Pacesetter Steel (Kennesaw, Ga.), and TW Metals Inc. (Cincinnati).

The Most Improved Award is given to the supplier that has the largest increase in overall supplier performance. Fasco Industries Inc. (St. Clair, Mo.) received the 2004 Most Improved Award.

"HRP is proud to recognize its top suppliers for outstanding performance," said Moon. "The annual Summit Awards provide us with a perfect venue for showing our appreciation for suppliers who consistently go above and beyond the call of duty."
