PaceControls: Energy Controller

The PaceControllerâ„¢ is a UL-registered controller that provides energy savings on a variety of HVACR units. It is designed to allow for optimal run time to pace an energy-consuming HVACR device, while maintaining full end-use performance. The configuration uses line frequency as the counting basis. It is installed within the control lines. The controller is available for 24, 120, 208, and 240 V. According to the manufacturer, the controller typically reduces HVACR energy consumption by 10 percent to 20 percent. Options include temperature-sensor overrides and secondary controls.
