TORONTO - Among the 14,037 individuals who attended the recent CMX CIPHEX Show, there were people who participated in one of the most entertaining and educational venues at the show - the Technological Skills Competition. Students and experienced technicians were invited to participate in the hands-on and written test challenging their knowledge of the trade and their system troubleshooting skills.

For secondary schools, the winners are: first place, Josh Pond, Elmira District Secondary School; second place, Jonathan Forwell, Elmira District Secondary School; and third place, Menno Wicher, Elmira District Secondary School. At the provincial level, the winners are: first place, Nick D'Alessandro, Mohawk College; second place, Cory Hoffer, Mohawk College; and third place, Don Faithful, George Brown College. Tim Lukacs of Lukacs Plumbing and Heating won the Master's Challenge.
