ST. LOUIS - Emerson Climate Technologies announced the 2006 schedule for its E2 Facility Management System training seminars. Provided by Emerson's Educational Services, the two-day seminars for installers and technicians focus on the refrigeration and building-control equipment developed by Emerson's Computer Process Controls. These seminars are designed to give technicians in-depth understanding of system programming, component optimization, preventive maintenance, and hardware configuration. There are currently two different seminars available: one focusing on refrigeration control (RX) and one concentrating on building control (BX).

"Technicians need to have a better understanding of the advanced electronic controls that are being adopted by the supermarket industry, as well as how they connect critical system components such as compressors, motors, valves, and sensors," said Larry Banas, director of Emerson Climate Technologies' Educational Services. "The E2 Facility Management System seminars give technicians the knowledge they need to properly operate, maintain, and utilize this technology, which significantly increases the value they can provide to their supermarket and retail customers."
