The electric indirect water heaters feature a long-life heat exchanger and Incoloy-sheathed electric heating elements designed to provide economical, scale-free, and corrosion-resistant operation, the company states. The water heaters are available in inputs of 30 to 330 kW, outputs of 98.3 to 1,081.1 MBtuh, and recovery capacities (40 degrees to 140 degrees F) of 117 to 1,298 gph. Corrosion and scale-forming service water does not come into direct contact with steel heater parts and heating elements. The service water that is being heated circulates only through the copper indirect heat exchanger within a temperature range that eliminates or minimizes chemical reactions such as oxidation or precipitation, states the manufacturer.
