Saelig Co. Inc.: Wireless Temperature-Humidity Logger
January 23, 2006
The TR-72W is a temperature-humidity logger with a built-in Ethernet/LAN interface. This feature enables quick and easy data collection and monitoring anywhere on a wired network, or wirelessly via an optional Wi-Fi card. The logger can store up to 8,000 readings. Warning e-mails can be sent to a cell phone or other e-mail address. Using an Internet browser to access the logger, it is possible to view real-time temperature and humidity readings as well as seeing graphically up to seven days of recorded data. An Internet browser also can be used securely to control start-stop recording, check the battery, or download recorded data. Supplied software then can be used to process and manage the saved temperature and humidity information. Designed to measure ambient conditions of 0° to 50°C and noncondensing humidities of 20 percent to 80 percent relative humidity, the logger has a measurement resolution of 0.1°C/1 percent relative humidity. Applications include refrigeration systems, freezers, and wine cellars.
