ATLANTA - Atlanta Motor Speedway officials relied on Lennox Industries for the emergency replacement of a majority of the rooftop air conditioning units destroyed by an F2 tornado.

"We knew that the speedway was going to need extensive HVAC equipment replacement, and we worked on a tight timeline to get the damage assessed, the new equipment ordered, delivered, and installed to accommodate the reopening of the track," stated Brian O'Connor, manager of business development for Lennox Industries.

"As the commercial contractor for the speedway project, my primary goal was to execute a plan to ensure all new equipment was ordered and installed with very little turnaround time," stated Edd Hill, president of HVAC Inc.

In less than four weeks, the Lennox HVAC equipment was ordered and delivered to the racetrack for installation. Lennox factory employees worked around the clock on a tight timetable to customize and deliver over 85 rooftop units for the racetrack suites. After delivery, the installation was complete in less than 10 days.
