CHANTILLY, Va. - The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association (SMACNA) awarded 27 companies with the Safety Excellence Award 2005. First-place winners will be recognized during SMACNA's annual convention. The SMACNA Safety Excellence Award Program (SSEAP) allows SMACNA to track safety history. SSEAP also evaluates data and identifies safety trends recognizing SMACNA members with the lowest incident rates. More than 280 members responded to the survey logging a combined total of 57 million man-hours worked.
