The TempTrace temperature recorders have a more compact enclosure that is almost 40 percent smaller than before, the company says. Features of the SK4 and SL4 include a 4-inch chart, single-battery operation for up to three years, external battery access, and keyhole back for wall-mounting capability. A quick reference temperature display is available with the SL4 models only. The temperature range for each model is -20 degrees to 120 degrees F, 45 degrees to 90 degrees F, -30 degrees to 50 degrees C, or 0 degrees to 100 degrees F. According to the manufacturer, they have recording times of seven days or 24 hours, and a response time of 11 minutes to move 63 percent of full scale.
