ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) will hold its 48th Annual CSI Showâ„¢ and Convention April 21-23, 2004, in Chicago at McCormick Place. Companies will display products and services representing the expanded structural and architectural divisions of MasterFormatâ„¢.

The exhibition floor will feature a new products showcase. According to CSI, it will feature building products representing significant advancements or innovations. Another new feature will be the product demonstration area, which will enable attendees to evaluate selected products close up and hands-on.

This year's CSI show will offer 70 continuing education sessions. Offerings will cover a number of topics, including basic skills and advanced training in construction documents and specifications, as well as mold, security, and green construction. The opening session will also include a roundtable discussion led by Howard M. Mager, senior vice president of McGraw-Hill Construction and general manager of the Sweets building products directory.

The keynote speaker for the event is Patrick MacLeamy, CEO of HOK Group Inc. McLeamy will deliver his address during the opening general session on April 21.
