WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. - Contractors 2000 has announced a number of new plans for the organization, including a new name and new program content.

The new name and direction for the contractor group will be unveiled at the organization's upcoming Super Meeting, scheduled for Feb. 19–21 in San Francisco.

Two new training programs will be introduced. One program is a revamped version of the customer service program for technicians first developed by Contractors 2000 in 1994. According to the group, the new release has been redeveloped to take into consideration changing customer expectations.

A new training program designed especially for dispatchers will also be released at the meeting. The latest session takes customer calls through a nine-step process in order to maximize profitability.

Full-day workshops in areas of finance and business planning are also scheduled for the Super Meeting. Other meeting subjects include building legacies, brand management, tax strategies, estate planning, and family/partner relations.
