The American Contractor version 7.0 allows the tracking, reporting, and sorting of data to fit the business needs of all types of contractors, including general contractors, subcontractors, and service contractors, the company states. A new feature is the Document Control module, which can store documents that have been scanned in or created from the library of customizable templates. Also new is the Session Manager; applications are organized from one screen at login, giving the user a customizable entrance into the system, says the company. The user can select applications from a shortcut on the desktop or from the system tray. According to the company, other new features of this software version include increased security features and additional AIA and billing capabilities.
