EAST PETERSBURG, Pa. - The Professional Service Managers Academy program established by the National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers (NAOHSM) has been expanded for 2006. Core classes that were offered in 2005 in Baltimore and Manchester, N.H., will be rotated so that students can more easily complete their required four core classes.

NAOHSM created the Professional Service Managers Academy with the support of Penn State University. It is a certification program designed to give existing managers the business tools needed to be more effective. The program also provides aspiring managers, such as lead technicians and supervisors, with the necessary business training.

Further expansion of the program includes: an on-line writing course, two classes in Harrisburg, Pa., hosted by the Pennsylvania Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association, and a custom one-day financial management class.

In addition, one of the core classes, "Solving Problems & Managing Priorities," will be offered in Hartford, Conn., immediately following the NAOHSM Annual Convention & Trade Show May 14-18, 2006.
