ROEBLING, N.J. -The Bayshore and Monmouth County (N.J.) chapters of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC) recently coordinated a special gift to the New Jersey Blind Citizens Association.

According to Bob Muller, past New Jersey PHCC president, members of the Bayshore and Monmouth County PHCC chapters installed a 375 MBtuh boiler to replace the nonprofit organization's old nonfunctioning, oversized boiler. The facility provides warm meals, educational services, computer training, and entertainment for blind citizens in New Jersey.

The boiler was donated by Slant Fin, the controls and circulator were provided by Taco, and all piping and remaining materials and shipping were provided by Hutchinson Inc. The PHCC members donated all the labor on the project.
