MEMPHIS, Tenn. - More than 400 of Bryant Heating and Cooling Systems sales managers, territory managers, and distributors gathered to discuss product updates centered on the company's proactive 2006 Cooling Platform, optimized around 13 SEER and higher efficiencies. Bryant's parent company, United Technologies Corp., has invested over $250 million in redesigning its product line to meet the industry's new efficiency standards.

With the theme "Ready to Run," the meeting featured comprehensive breakout sessions such as Design & Selling Advantages; Evolution, Controls, & Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Solutions; and Small Packaged Products. During the sessions attendees previewed the technology of Bryant's new cooling line, IAQ products, controls, and heating systems. Attendees also toured Bryant's new Collierville, Tenn. factory, which will add 300,000 sq ft of space for Bryant and 300 new jobs for the community.

"Bryant is committed to doing whatever it takes to educate the entire distribution network on new product and program offerings," said Halsey Cook, president, North American Residential. "The sales and territory managers' meeting is yet another tool we are utilizing to fully prepare the Bryant team as we get ready for unparalleled success in 2006."
