DES PLAINES, Ill. - The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society's (RSES) southern tier chapter announced a "Gas Combustion Seminar," scheduled for Sept. 4 at the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 112 hall in Binghamton, N.Y. It will be presented in conjunction with Local 112, Meier Supply Co. Inc., and the R.W. Kellow Center of Learning.

The seminar will be led by News columnist Joe Marchese, CMS, of rhvactools.com. Topics will include an overview of the combustion process, fuel delivery, ignition, combustion air, flame characteristics, heat exchangers, products of combustion, how venting affects the combustion process, carbon monoxide, combustion testing, and combustion efficiency.
