NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Air Cold Supply, a division of Ferguson Enterprise, sent 50 of its top-selling York® Liberties™ dealers in California to a two-day boot camp that focused on best business practices, and the various dealer business tools available through the Liberties Dealer Program.

At the Ferguson regional training center in Pomona, Calif., dealers learned about online tools such as AdPlannerâ„¢, Net.Prophet, and Business Analyzer. Mickey Smith, York Unitary Product Group (UPG) marketing manager, introduced York Affinityâ„¢ residential heating-cooling products. Richard Harshaw, president of Lodestar Systems, covered "Throughput - How to Boost Productivity and Increase Profits."

According to Steve Adams, sales and marketing manager for Air Cold Supply, "We generated a lot of interest in the program, and ended up turning people away, so I'm confident we will fill any future camps we plan." The company was named York UPG Distributor of the Year for 2003.
