MOUNT PROSPECT, Ill. - HVAC Excellence released a new technician certification exam, "Residential and Light Commercial Low Pressure Radiant Heat Certification." Radiant systems represent roughly 6 percent of the United States heating market and comprise one of the fastest growing segments of the industry. With this rapid growth, training and certification have become pivotal to meet the demands for more qualified technicians to install and service these systems.

The new certification is designed for technicians who install, service, or maintain hot water heating systems. The certification provides national recognition of a technician's skill levels, allowing techs to show they have the theory and principles for installation, service, troubleshooting, and safety.

"Residential and Light Commercial Low Pressure Radiant Heat Certification" is one of nearly 30 exams offered by HVAC Excellence.
