KINGSTON, Mass. - Kingston Oil, headquartered here in Kingston, donated $10,000 to help the Boys & Girls Club of Plymouth create its "America's Hometown" Boys & Girls Clubhouse at 9 Resnik Rd., Plymouth, Mass.

Children from six to 18 years old, from Plymouth and the surrounding communities, have been enjoying the clubhouse's many features: a game room, basketball court, art center, cafeteria, computer lab, and study room. This facility allows the Boys & Girls Club to provide area youth with activities designed to build self-esteem and leadership skills while promoting positive life choices.

Kingston Oil is a five-generation family-owned business. The company specializes in oil delivery and heating and air conditioning system installations and repairs. "For over 100 years of growth and change, our tradition has been to keep our customers warm, informed, secure, and happy," the company said.

Kingston Oil is owned by Robert (Red) Fawcett, who has worked his way up through the ranks. He succeeds his father, Robert W. Fawcett. Assisting Red are three of his four children: Robert R. Fawcett Jr. (Rob), Lauren, and Ben. Rob focuses on management, Lauren on marketing, and Ben on sales.

The contractor said its family also includes its employees and customers. "In an office with over 40 employees, everyone plays a valuable role in operations, service, customer relations, and day-to-day responsibilities," the company said.
