DES PLAINES, Ill. — The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) will administer the I=B=R School, Residential Hydronic Heating — Installation and Design.

According to RSES, the new program is an updated version of the hydronics instruction course that has been conducted by the Institute of Boiler and Radiator Manufacturers (I=B=R), which is now the Hydronics Institute Division of the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association (GAMA).

Course topics will include: hydronics and why to use it; heat loss calculations; boiler location, sizing, piping, and wiring; installation tips; heat emitters; and chimneys and air supply.

The two-day course will be offered on June 3-4 in Bensalem, Pa., and June 5-6, in Lancaster, Pa.
