O’FALLON, Mo. — Nordyne is reintroducing its light commercial line of commercial heating and air conditioning products under the brand name “Mammoth.” Mammoth is a sister company to Nordyne and provides products for the commercial HVAC market. The line was unveiled at Nordyne’s distributor meeting, which took place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Sept. 19-22.

“Mammoth is one of the most well-respected names in commercial heating and air conditioning, so it makes sense for Nordyne to market our light commercial offerings under the Mammoth brand,” said Dennis Kloster, Nordyne vice president of marketing and sales, residential and light commercial. “Our current and potential customers will be even more successful selling products that have a name their customers already know and trust.”

The newest Mammoth light commercial products include single packaged gas/electric units, available in 3- through 15-ton capacities. These high-efficiency units can be installed on the roof or on a slab. The 3-, 4-, 5-, 6-, 7.5-, and 10-ton units are available now, and the 12.5- and 15-ton units are scheduled to be available in May 2004. Also new to the Mammoth line are the three-phase, high-efficiency split system air conditioners, available in 3-, 4-, and 5-ton capacities, which are in production now.
