PITTSBURGH - The Linc Group (TLG) recently acquired all four locations of Seaboard Mechanical Services LLC, Chesapeake, Va. Seaboard also has branch locations in Richmond, Va., Raleigh, N.C., and Washington. It has been a provider of HVACR services to commercial and industrial facilities throughout the Mid-Atlantic states since 1983.

TLG is a provider of mechanical and facility management services to building owners and operators worldwide.

Seaboard Mechanical also is one of seven operating divisions of Calliber Services, owned by Pepco Energy Services, a wholly owned and separately operated subsidiary of Potomac Electric Power Co. Linc Services' sister company, Linc Facility Services, has acquired MET Electrical Testing LLC and its subsidiary companies, Carolina Electrical Testing (CET) and Substation Test Company. Seaboard Mechanical is the mobile HVAC sister company of MET.

TLG is the parent company of Linc Network LLC, franchisor of the Linc System®. Contractors who own a Linc Network franchise are known as Linc Service® Contractors.

The Seaboard acquisition extends the reach of TLG's company-owned stores into 14 major metropolitan markets in the United States: Atlanta; Boston; Columbus and Dayton, Ohio; Detroit; Irvine, Calif.; Pittsburgh; Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas; Las Vegas; Orlando and Tampa, Fla.; and Phoenix and Tucson, Ariz.

Seaboard Mechanical's areas of expertise include custom-designed, properly implemented, scheduled maintenance programs; complete design, installation, maintenance, and monitoring of state-of-the-art DDC facility automation and process control systems; and an experienced engineering-construction group capable of total design-build project work for new buildings or system replacements-retrofits in existing facilities. Seaboard's customers include a number of Fortune 500 companies, plus university campuses, public school systems, hospitals, water treatment facilities, and manufacturing facilities.
