CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Chiller Systems Group held its spring meeting here on March 6-7, hosted by Chiller Services Inc. Forty-five representatives attended the meeting from contractors all over the United States and Canada. The highlight of the meeting was a one-day factory visit and technical session at the Carrier chiller factory.

Mesa Energy conducted training on the York water-cooled compressor, while Trane conducted a class on its new microprocessor CH-530. Carrier Corporation held three training sessions, including compressor familiarization, PIC Controls, and operating fundamentals on Carrier 17/19ER, XL, XR, and XRT. Benshaw Corporation conducted a training class on solid-state starters, and Howden Buffalo held a course on Joy Vane-Axial Fans.
