ROCKVILLE, Md. - The Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) will hold its annual educational conference Oct. 17-20 at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort in Santa Ana Pueblo, N.M. The conference will focus on managing, owning, operating, and leading a successful HVACR service company.

Educational sessions will address key issues facing mechanical service contractors today, including unconventional leadership, communications skills, interpersonal management, cash management methods, the legal issues of hiring and firing, safety issues, retro commissioning, managing the risks of full service contracts, and the UA STAR and MSCA STAR programs.

Guest speakers will include Jamie Clarke, an adventurer and explorer who will share lessons he learned while climbing Mount Everest, and Dave Dravecky, a major league pitcher who lost an arm to cancer.
