DES PLAINES, Ill. - The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society's (RSES) southern tier chapter will hold a seminar, presented in conjunction with Plumbers & Pipe-fitters Local 112, Meier Supply Co. Inc., and the R.W. Kellow Center of Learning. Titled "Gas Combustion Seminar," it is scheduled for Sept. 4 at the Plumbers & Pipe-fitters union hall in Binghamton, N.Y.

Led by News columnist Joe Marchese, CMS, of rhvactools.com, this seminar will explore topics including an overview of the combustion process, fuel delivery, ignition, combustion air, flame characteristics, heat exchangers, products of combustion, how venting affects the combustion process, carbon monoxide, combustion testing, and combustion efficiency.
