ARLINGTON, VA — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) reported that over 450 companies have become new members of the ACCA federation during the months of September and October.

The association said that it is nearing the completion of a three-year reorganization in which ACCA and its state and local affiliates will integrate into one nationwide federation. The goal of the plan is to ensure that HVACR contracting businesses at the state and local level will receive the maximum service from the organization.

“ACCA and our affiliates across the country have embraced the new ACCA Federation and moved to provide contractors with the tools and resources they need to operate profitably now and in the future,” said Paul T. Stalknecht, ACCA president and CEO. “We salute the leaders of the ACCA chapters for their tireless work on behalf of a strong HVACR contracting industry. And we’re thrilled to welcome these new members.”

The organization announced that in the last two months it has moved to develop a number of new resources and benefits, known as ACCA MemberTools™, and has begun an aggressive strategy to identify and recruit the best contractors in the country for membership.
