The HVAC Technician's Handbook is a reference book for the technician in the field. It provides rules of thumb that can be used in the field to determine if systems and components are operating in an acceptable range and helps the technician identify problem sources. There are five subject areas: hydronics, airflow, heat transfer, electrical systems and motors, and values and conversions. It has a detailed index, and the appendix includes symbols, definitions, and abbreviations for quick reference. This book is the latest in the Indoor Environment Technician's Library series.
