ARLINGTON, Va. — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has scheduled a series of new two-day workshops designed to instruct commercial and residential contractors on how to boost profitability.

The three workshops are titled “Keys to Residential Profitability,” “Negotiating Commercial Projects,” and “Selling Commercial Service.”

“Keys to Residential Profitability” will be offered at the Marriott Westshore in Tampa on Sept. 23 and 24, and again at the Marriott Palm Beach Gardens in Palm Beach, Fla., on Sept. 25 and 26. Topics discussed during this seminar will include reducing employee turnover, replacement equipment sales, and service sales.

“Negotiating Commercial Projects” will be held in Palm Beach on Oct. 21 and 22. This course will aim to instruct contractors on how to negotiate service work, how to differentiate your company, how to develop a plan for face-to-face meetings with customers, and a number of other topics in order to secure the job.

ACCA will offer “Selling Commercial Service” in Tampa on Oct. 23 and 24. This workshop has been designed to show attendees the steps they need to take to get more service agreements at a higher margin.
