  • The Air Movement and Control Association International Inc. (AMCA) (Arlington Heights, Ill.) has revised Publication 503, Fire, Ceiling, (Radiation), Smoke, and Fire/Smoke Dampers Application Manual.

  • The Texas Air Conditioning Contractors Association (TACCA) (Austin, Texas) recognized ACCA-North Texas as the Local Chapter of the Year during the organization's 2003 annual meeting. The 2003 board of directors was also honored, including outgoing president Josh Kahn of Kahn Mechanical (Dallas). The 2004 incoming president is Jeff Beyer of Beyer Mechanical (San Antonio).
