ARLINGTON, Va. - The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) board of directors met on Oct. 1 to review the association's ongoing operations and elect officers for the 2004-2005 year.

During the recently closed 2003 fiscal year, the association experienced a net membership growth of 9 percent. ACCA reports that this is the first time in nearly a decade the organization has ended a year with more members than it had at the beginning of the year.

The board elected new officers who will take office at the 2004 ACCA Conference & Indoor Air Expo in New Orleans Feb. 25-28. The officers include chairman - Skip Snyder, The Snyder Group (Upper Darby, Pa.); senior vice chairman - Greg Leisgang, JonLe Heating & Cooling (Cincinnati); secretary - Richard Dean, Environmental Systems Associates (Columbia, Md.); treasurer - Phil Forner, Allendale Heating Company (Allendale, Mich.); immediate past chairman - John Saucier, Temperature Inc. (Memphis, Tenn.); advisory council chairman - Jim Hussey, Marina Mechanical (San Leandro, Calif.); vice chairman - Ray Isaac, Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning (Rochester, N.Y.); vice chairman - Bill Moss, M&H Air Conditioning (Memphis, Tenn.); and vice chairman - Bruce Silverman, Airite Air Conditoning (Tampa, Fla.).
