MOUNT PROSPECT, Ill. — HVAC Excellence recently accredited three new HVACR programs in Pennsylvania. Lancaster County Career & Technology Center, Brownstown Campus, was granted a four-year accreditation, the highest level of accreditation for a secondary career and technical education program awarded through HVAC Excellence.

The Bucks County Technical High School HVAC Program in Fairdess Hills and The Western Center for Technical Studies in Limerick also earned the four-year accreditation through HVAC Excellence.

According to the accrediting agency, programmatic accreditation is part of a national movement to establish standards of excellence within education, thereby raising the quality of education. The organization also said that the commonwealth of Pennsylvania is currently working toward accreditation of all HVACR programs throughout its career and technical centers.
