ATLANTA, GA — The LonWorld™ 2002 conference and trade show will be held Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at the National Trade Centre in Toronto, ON, Canada, in conjunction with the ISH North America Expo.

LonWorld keynote speaker Shirou Yokata is managing director of the Information Systems Division, Fuji Electric Co. He will present “Integrated Facility Solutions — Unified Data Solutions in the Industrial Market.”

Rich Bloomseth, product manager at Echelon, will make a presentation on the development of LonWorks™-compatible hardware and its interfacing, and how hardware with a microcontroller or microprocessor can be made network compatible.

Ron Zimmer, president and CEO of the Continental Automated Building Association (CABA), will present new trends in building automation, while Frank Cappaunao, TAC America, and Harold Nelson, Lockheed Martin Information Systems, will host a panel discussion on LonWorks networks in vertical markets.

Finally, Mark Kendall, president of KenMark, Terry Reynolds of Control Technologies, and Tracy Markie, president of Engenuity Systems, will address business opportunities for LonWorks networks and open systems.
