ROHNERT PARK, CA — CrossCheck Inc., a privately held check guarantee company, announced an agreement to provide its services to Southern California Air Conditioning Distributor Inc. (SCACD Inc.), a privately owned HVAC distributor.

Southern California Air is headquartered in City of Industry, CA, and said it will utilize CrossCheck’s services at all 20 locations nationwide.

CrossCheck’s service will provide Southern California Air Conditioning with guarantee features on checks accepted at their many locations. The HVAC distributor is Southern California’s one stop shop for HVAC needs, including equipment, controls, and parts. They supply residential, commercial, and industrial customers with a complete line of Carrier, Bryant, and Payne equipment ranging from 9,000-Btu window units to 2,500-ton centrifugal chillers.

“Our guarantee services are a great solution for Southern California Air Conditioning,” said CrossCheck’s president and CEO, J. David Siembieda. “By having a strong program in place, they can continue to offer their customers the convenience of paying by check without losing time and money on returned checks.”

SCACD Inc., founded in 1990, has grown to 300 employees, generating $211 million in sales with 20 stores nationwide.

Founded in 1983, CrossCheck said it provides payment guarantee solutions to over 73,000 merchant outlets across the country and handled more than $9 billion in guaranteed transactions in 2001. With more than 18 years experience, it said its goal has been “to provide its merchant customers with increased profitability while reducing their financial risk.”
