  • GeneralAire (Novi, MI) has launched its new online Wholesaler Locator. The company says that it has 3,000 wholesalers in North America, and customers can find one closest to them by going to (website).

  • Burnham (Lancaster, PA) has made two changes in the management of the company’s Hydronics division sales department. Mike McDonnell has accepted the position of manager of business development, and Daniel Kelbaugh will become national sales manager.

  • Global Energy Group Inc. (Odessa, FL) has elected Guy S. Frankenfield as vice president of sales for the company.

  • Yokogawa Corporation of America (Newnan, GA) has acquired all of the outstanding shares of stock of Measurementation Inc. (Houston, TX) from its affiliated holding company, Yokogawa USA Inc. (Atlanta, GA).

  • PowerCold Corporation (LaVernia, TX) has received contracts to install advanced HVAC systems for a major chain of drugstores. The chain plans to install over 200 systems during 2003, generating over $10 million in sales for PowerCold.

  • Ebtron Inc. (Myrtle Beach, SC) has made changes to its Internet site, The company says that the new site is designed to be a clearinghouse and IAQ resource for dilution air control topics.

  • Magnetek (Menomonee Falls, WI) has signed a partnership agreement with Solcon Industries to market a line of low-voltage soft starters for use with AC motors. For more information, go to (website).

  • Rolled Alloys (Temperance, MI) is offering a revised and updated “AL-6XN Alloy Source Book.” The new volume incorporates corrosions data, mechanical and physical properties, and welding guidelines. For further details, go to (website).

  • Wagner, a division of DiversiTech Corporation (Decatur, GA), has received notification from the Environmental Protection Association (EPA) that its Pro-Threat 151 has been registered. The registration permits Wagner to make specific claims for control of black algae, fungus, slime, and odors in condensate drain pans and dehumidifiers.
  • American Standard Companies Inc. (Piscataway, NJ) has announced that it will consolidate its media planning and buying for its U.S.-based brands with Initiative Media North America, part of the Initiative Media Worldwide unit of Interpublic Group of Companies. American Standard Companies sells HVAC systems and services under the Trane and American Standard brands.
