The Pacific condensate-removal system has an electronic water-sensing device in the reservoir, which senses the condensate and starts the pump while monitoring condensate removal. The pump also has circuitry built into the system to act as a warning device, alerting users to problems anywhere in the system, says the manufacturer. The alarm circuit can either prompt an alarm or shut off the outdoor condenser. The pump can remove condensate and pump it as high as 20 feet vertically and 100 feet horizontally, the company says. The unit is ideal for split-zone ductless systems and tight installations of standard ducted systems, states the company.
