FALLS CHURCH, VA — The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors—National Association (PHCC) is preparing for its convention and the ISH North America Trade Show, set for Oct. 29 – Nov. 2, 2002, in Toronto.

The first day of the convention will begin with a reception at the Sheraton Centre Toronto, sponsored by Federated Insurance. The next day, PHCC will present a first-timers’ continental breakfast, which will provide an informal way for first-time convention-goers to learn more about the PHCC annual convention and to meet other members.

The opening ceremony will include a keynote address by Michael Gerbers. Gerbers will present “The E-Myth: Why Most Small Businesses Don’t Work and What To Do About It.” The day will end with PHCC’s annual business meeting and a luncheon by In-Sink-Erator.

PHCC’s International Apprenticeship Contest will be held all day Friday at the National Trade Centre. Other events that day will include educational seminars, the Delta Faucet luncheon, and the ISH NA keynote address. The address will be given by Rich Tretheway from PBS’s “This Old House.” The convention will wrap up on Nov. 2 with several educational sessions and with the PHCC Awards Banquet.
