The CFW-08 line of micro inverters now includes three models: 10 hp (three phase, 460 VAC), 5 hp (three phase, 230 VAC), and 3 hp (single phase, 230 VAC). The new, larger units have been renamed CFW-08 Plus. They will allow the variable-frequency drive to be applied to a variety of industrial uses, including centrifugal pumps, fans, and blowers, the company says. Features added to the CFW-08 Plus include sensorless vector operation, dynamic braking, optional remote keypad with copy function, and PID setpoint controller operation. The unit also offers serial communications, including Modbus-RTU in addition to RS-232 and RS-485; selectable switching frequency to 15 kHz; and NEMA 1 enclosure with detachable terminal cover, states the manufacturer.
