The DW056K-2 18-V cordless impact driver produces 1,170 inch-pounds of torque, more than double the torque of a typical 18-V drill/driver, claims the company. The DW057K-2 18-V cordless impact wrench delivers 1,650 inch-pounds of torque. These tools operate at 0 to 2,400 rpm and from 0 to 3,000 blows per minute during impact mode. Both products have a high-powered, fan-cooled motor designed specifically for these impact tools. The DW056K-2 has a 1/4-inch quick-release hex chuck that accepts bits such as nut drivers, screwdriver bits, socket adapters, spade bits, and twist bits. The DW057K-2 has a 1/2-inch square anvil with a detent pin to accept all 1/2-inch drive sockets. The tools are 6.5 inches long. Each tool comes with a one-hour battery charger, batteries, and a heavy-duty kit box.
