DuctSox (Dubuque, Iowa), and its core product, fabric duct and air dispersion, has been listed as a "GreenSpec" product by BuildingGreen.com.

Purafil Inc. (Doraville, Ga.) appointed Wolfgang Schmidl as technical director for the company. Schmidl will be responsible for researching different gas-phase technologies and developing products to improve air quality.

Unico Inc. (St. Louis) will sponsor the NextGen Demonstration Home, which will be featured at the 2004 International Builders' Show in Las Vegas Jan. 19-22.
