MISSISSAUGA, Ontario - John Murphy, chair of the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI), and Norm Fraser, chair of the HVACR Heritage Centre Canada (HHCC), announced on Dec. 11 an affiliation between the two organizations. HRAI will provide a base of operations and administrative support to the newly formed Heritage Centre, as well as house an ongoing public display of industry artifacts from the Heritage Centre collection.

"This affiliation with the Heritage Centre is viewed as a natural fit for the association that represents the interests of the HVACR industry in Canada," said Murphy. "HRAI is pleased to play a role in preserving our industry's heritage for future generations."

The HVACR Heritage Centre is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving and recording the history of the HVACR industry and its contributions to Canada's way of life.
